The 7th China-ROK Copyright Seminar Held in Beijing
14:27, June 30, 2011
The 7th China-ROK Copyright Seminar sponsored by China’s National Copyright Administration and South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and hosted by Copyright Protection Center of China (CPCC) and the Copyright Committee of South Korea opened in International Copyright Trade Center of Zhongguancun, Beijing in June 10, 2011. The seminar attracted nearly a hundred participants, including experts, organizations and business representatives from TV, games, animation and other fields in both China and Korea, who had a heated discussion themed as "New Monitoring and Rights Protection Mechanism of Online Copyright in China and South Korea".
China Copyright Protection Center and South Korea Copyright Committee signed the “Commission Agreement of Research Projects on Copyright Monitoring of Korean Works in Chinese Video Websites and Related Legal Issues” during the seminar. South Korea will monitor the dissemination of part of the Korean works in China through the CPCC network video monitoring and evidence investigation platform, and provide copyright monitoring report and right protection report. It is the first time that Korea’s copyright sector commissions China’s national copyright public service associations to carry out copyright monitoring and protection based on technical means.
