Farmer fined 20 million for selling fake: verdict revoked

15:44, January 05, 2012

21.51 million yuan, it is the fine amount of the first instance verdict for the case of Li Qing’s selling of fake Erdos sweaters.

Li Qing confessed that he only gained about 10,000 yuan profits in selling fake Erdos sweaters, which makes a huge contrast to the fine.

After exposure, the case caused public questioning and almost one-sided sympathy. However, the case is involved in a more complex dispute behind the huge fine.

Currently, the High Court of Inner Mongolia revoked the first instance verdict and sent it back for re-trial.
